As a world leader in process solutions we have delivered some of the most complex projects, including design of the world’s largest wet concentrating plant at the ArcelorMittal project in Canada, and the design and supply of two tailings treatment beneficiation plants for Arrium in Australia.

Our innovative surge bin technology, Lyons Feed Control Unit (LCFU), is currently being deployed into iron ore with the first installation in Western Australia. At 24 & 16 metres in diameter, these LFCUs are the largest ever constructed.

Our experience has shown that high grade concentrates and high recovery of iron ore can be achieved using effective feed preparation systems in combination with quality beneficiation equipment.

The team at Mineral Technologies is continually developing new equipment designs and process flow adaptations to maximise concentrate grades and recovery of iron minerals. Incorporating crushing, grinding, classification, and gravity separation as well as high and low intensity magnetic separation across wet and dry applications for fine iron ore beneficiation.

Our laboratory has the capability to create multi‑stage pilot scale circuits to treat bulk samples (80‑100 tonnes) for process testing and circuit optimisation. We then deliver concept, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies as well as cost effective flowsheet design to safely and efficiently extract the iron ore.

Mineral Technologies equipment is designed and manufactured using the latest techniques and are tested in full-scale processing operations to ensure optimal performance.
